Once you’ve found and viewed a property you like, we’ll ask for a holding payment and referencing checks. Once you’ve passed referencing, we’ll draw up contracts for you and your landlord to sign.
We’ll book move dates, at a time convenient for you and the landlord, and provide you with a copy of your contract once handover is complete.
Our service includes a professional clean of the property and a full inventory, to avoid any potential hassle down the line.
And of course, we’ll stay in regular contact and keep you updated throughout the process. For landlords seeking extra peace-of-mind and maintenance support, Chetwood Property is proud to offer a full property management service.
We’ll check that everything’s in good order and that your tenants are keeping to the terms of the tenancy agreement. We will check main items like the carpets, walls, cooker, main living areas and gardens.
If we don’t like how things are with the property at this point, we will organise and execute a more detailed inspection.
As Landlords we were let down by management agents many times so we set ourselves high standards. We’ll also carry out a detailed final inspection of the property at the end of the tenancy.
Repairs and maintenance
Our property management service also includes co-ordination of repairs and maintenance. We have a full team of skilled tradesmen who we regularly work everywhere we operate.
We can provide on-site maintenance and repair, including emergency work, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all year round.
An annual service of central heating, gas appliances and an electrical is a legal requirement and we’ll do that on your behalf too.
